Sand Art Fun

Ava received a Sand Art Kit a while back. After playing with it for several days she decided to mix all the colors together. I decided to take this opportunity to use the mixed sand for art. It's super simple but Ava thought it was magic. 

Materials:

Bowl (To hold sand)
Colored Sand (We used the mixed sand we had but individual colors will work too)
Paper (We used construction paper)
Tray (Or something to catch the sand)
Elmer's Glue (We used clear Elmer's Glue)
Spoon (We used a child-sized spoon)

First, Ava took her glue and made the design she wanted.

Next, Ava scooped the sand and carefully put it over the glue design.

Make sure to cover all the glue with the sand.

Last, Ava poured the sand from her paper on the tray. She set it aside to dry then Viola! Her Sand Art Design was complete.

She did about 10 of them, but here are just a few of the Artist's work.
