Farmville Dogwood Festival

Farmville is a small town but we enjoy the quaintness of it. We were surprised to find that they hold an annual Dogwood Festival. We decided to go to the Farmville Dogwood Festival on April 26th.  Our first stop was to a food vendor for a Funnel Cake. I'm pretty sure I ate most of it before realizing I didn't offer anyone a piece. (oops!) Chris tackled the fried Oreos. Ava wasn't interested in the food, she was there for the rides.Thankfully the rain held off long enough for Ava and daddy to ride a few rides. Lucy was content in the stroller and watching sister enjoy the rides. Silly me forgot the camera and ended up using my iPhone to catch a few pictures and videos.

Daddy doesn't like getting dizzy...thus, the over enthused facial expression. HAHA

Ava picked a Lucky Duck and got a giant Dora Wand.

Ava rode the mini roller coaster twice. Dad was thrilled. HAHA

After the festival we headed to our favorite place to eat in Farmville, Marabella's. Ava loves their pizza. Here's Lucy and daddy coloring while waiting for the food to come out. We look forward to the festival next year and hope to have blue skies. Nothing better than spending time with your family!
